HOW QUICKLY WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Most deliveries will be made within 3 – 5 days. Orders are usually collected from us by Royal Mail/Parcel Force the day after we receive your order and delivered within 48hrs from leaving us.
Large pieces that need to be sent by a specialist art courier may take 7-14 days. You will be contacted by us and advised of when delivery is likely to be. The courier will maintain contact with you regarding your order.
*Please be aware that Great Print 7 is a current exhibition. Any artwork purchased from the exhibition will not be available for delivery or pickup until Friday 13 May*
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Yes, providing the order has not been dispatched. You can cancel an order by emailing email@example.com
CAN I RETURN MY ORDER?
Yes, if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return it with your receipt to Rheged and receive a full refund (excluding shipping costs). Please

- Artwork must be returned in its original packing and undamaged to Rheged Gallery, at the buyer’s cost, including the cost of insurance
- It must be returned to the Gallery within 14 days of the artwork’s arrival with you.
CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
Yes, once your order has been dispatched, we will email you a confirmation of dispatch and the tracking number.
HOW WILL MY ARTWORK BE PACKAGED?
We flat pack your artwork using corner guards, eco-friendly bubble wrap and tape, corrugated cardboard and then wrap in special Rheged paper.
CAN I SEND ARTWORK AS A GIFT WHEN BUYING ONLINE?
Yes, there is a feature on the shopping element to tick a “gift” box. We will then ensure the price is hidden from the recipient. There is also the option to include a special message, which we will hand write on a card and attach when wrapping.
DO YOU OFFER ADVICE ON BUYING ARTWORK?
We offer an art consultation service for those wishing to source original works of art from artists seen on the platform. Simply email email@example.com with your budget and requirements and we will help source a work of art tailored to your needs. Alternatively, we can organise a face-to-face appointment in the Gallery or on line.
Is the work I am buying by a Printmaker, an original work of art?
Yes, all the prints we sell are original artist's prints. These are not reproduction prints. The artwork you are buying has been hand-printed by the artist from a printing plate or block that has been manually produced by the artist. These are signed by the artist and may be numbered as a limited edition.
What is a limited edition?
An edition is a set of prints taken from the same printing block or plate; each print is given a number out of the total number in the edition e.g., 25/100 is the 25th print taken from a set of 100. Limited edition prints are limited to a specific number of copies after which, the block is destroyed so further copies cannot be taken. Limited editions are usually printed in low numbers.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN ORIGINAL PRINT AND A REPRODUCTION PRINT?
An original print is not a digital reproduction. It is a print that has been hand-printed by the artist from a printing block or plate that has been made by the artist. Some prints use several blocks to add layers of colour.
DOES MY ARTWORK COME WITH AN AUTHENTICITY CERTIFICATE?
Yes, all original pieces of artwork are dispatched with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
