Marion Kuit

Abandoned houses in Donegal are often left with the contents left intact. Windows have been broken while the inside has been ransacked. The old and tattered lace curtains seemed to speak volumes about the melancholy of these places.

Arrangements of fabric were set up and ripped, with drawings directly onto lino blocks which were then laboriously cut for each stage of printing. The prints are in three or four white tones on black paper and produced in editions of six.

We will be adding this collection very soon.
